O m\u00e9todo KF \u00e9 uma das poucas t\u00e9cnicas que mede o teor de \u00e1gua e n\u00e3o \u00e9 afetado por outros vol\u00e1teis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; O princ\u00edpio da titula\u00e7\u00e3o Karl Fischer baseia-se na rea\u00e7\u00e3o de oxida\u00e7\u00e3o entre o iodo e o di\u00f3xido de enxofre. A \u00e1gua reage com o iodo e o di\u00f3xido de enxofre para formar tri\u00f3xido de enxofre e iodeto de hidrog\u00e9nio. Um ponto final \u00e9 atingido quando toda a \u00e1gua \u00e9 consumida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>O que \u00e9 um titulador coulom\u00e9trico?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A titula\u00e7\u00e3o coulom\u00e9trica \u00e9 uma t\u00e9cnica de determina\u00e7\u00e3o absoluta em que a massa de uma determinada subst\u00e2ncia \u00e9 determinada medindo a quantidade de eletricidade necess\u00e1ria para eletrolisar essa subst\u00e2ncia\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Quais s\u00e3o as aplica\u00e7\u00f5es da titula\u00e7\u00e3o coulom\u00e9trica?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A rea\u00e7\u00e3o de Karl Fischer utiliza uma titula\u00e7\u00e3o coulom\u00e9trica para determinar a quantidade de \u00e1gua numa amostra. Pode determinar concentra\u00e7\u00f5es de \u00e1gua na ordem dos miligramas por litro. \u00c9 utilizada para determinar a quantidade de \u00e1gua em subst\u00e2ncias como manteiga, a\u00e7\u00facar, queijo, papel e petr\u00f3leo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Como \u00e9 que funciona?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As amostras s\u00e3o colocadas no tabuleiro rotativo e seladas. Quando o instrumento arranca, a primeira amostra \u00e9 transferida para uma estufa com temperatura controlada. Em seguida, a amostra \u00e9 perfurada para que, \u00e0 medida que a \u00e1gua \u00e9 convertida em vapor, seja transferida para um titulador coulom\u00e9trico ou volum\u00e9trico que determinar\u00e1 o teor de \u00e1gua da amostra. Ao controlar a temperatura, apenas a \u00e1gua evapora, enquanto a amostra restante permanece no frasco de amostra.
