how does TT10A transformer turns ratio tester work

how does TT110A transformer turns ratio tester work?

The TTR tester applies a low voltage to the primary winding, then records the voltage that comes from the secondary winding. That voltage from the secondary winding can determine if the transformer is working correctly or any possible issues with the equipment and its turns ratio.

  1. ⒈ Display: 7-inch high definition touch-screen
  2. ⒉ HV Terminals: Yellow, Green, Red and Black terminals, corresponding to the 3-phase A,B,C and 0 on the high voltage side of the tested transformers
  3. ⒊ LV Terminals: Yellow, Green, Red and Black terminals, corresponding to the 3-phase A,B,C and 0 on the low voltage side of the tested transformers
  4. ⒋ Power input and Switch: AC 120V
  5. ⒌: Ground Protection Pole
  6. ⒍ RS232 Port
  7. ⒎ USB Port
  8. ⒏ Micro printer

Firstly, Connect the power wire, test wire and ground wire, Turn on the power and enter the main interface , 6 icons display, including Three Phase, Single Phase, Z type T., Clear Memory, File and Setting

2

Pay Attention: After connecting the wire, select Y-y-0 or D-d-0 as the connection method, and then press the confirm key to start the measurement. The measured value is 1.0000. The above display indicates that the instrument is normal, otherwise there is a problem with the instrument.

If there is no short-circuit wiring, you can also short-circuit wiring the yellow, green, red, and black wiring pliers on the high voltage side of the test line to the yellow, green, red, and black wiring pliers on the low voltage side. (Pay attention to the position of the lead wire of the pliers when short-circuiting, and the wired end must be connected together firmly)

Second, Click <Three-phase>or <Single-phase> or <Z-Type T.> icon to enter test, After the test is complete,

press the <Back> icon to return to the main interface, click the <Save> button to store the data in the U disk.
